Helping You Move Forward With Greater Understanding, Purpose & Meaning
Jacquelyn Ekern, MS, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and move toward greater understanding, resilience, and fulfillment.
Since becoming a licensed professional counselor in 2005, Jacquelyn has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment difficulties, life transitions, trauma, disordered eating, and weight and body-image concerns. Her approach is compassionate, supportive, and grounded in the belief that even through difficult seasons, people can develop greater self-understanding, resilience, and hope.
Jacquelyn holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree from Capella University. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience and expertise in mental health, eating disorders, and therapeutic care.
A Career Built on Advocacy & Education
In addition to her clinical work, Jacquelyn has spent many years advocating for greater awareness, education, and access to resources surrounding mental health, addiction, and eating disorders.
She founded and developed two respected online behavioral-health platforms that provided education, support, and resources to individuals and families. After many years of dedicated work building these organizations, leadership and ownership have transitioned to others, allowing
Jacquelyn to step away from those ventures and devote her full professional focus to her counseling practice.
She is grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to these organizations and is pleased to see their work continue and evolve under new leadership.
Jacquelyn’s expertise and perspective have been featured by nationally recognized media outlets, including ABC, NBC News, and The Huffington Post, as well as through interviews, podcasts, and other professional media.
She brings to her work not only extensive professional training and clinical experience, but also a deep commitment to helping people better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and move toward lives that feel purposeful, authentic, and meaningful.
A Place to Begin
Whether you are struggling with a particular challenge or simply recognize that something in your life needs to change, therapy can provide a place to slow down, gain perspective, and discover a path forward.
Jacquelyn offers a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.
